Contrary to what you might think, we can’t live without plastic. We need it for things when no other materials can be used.
The problem is that current plastics are designed for performance, not recycling. Even PET bottles, the gold standard, are only partially recyclable. And all the new plastics focus only on being bio-based or biodegradable. Not circular.
To solve the problem, we need fully circular plastics. The good news is that any plastic can be redesigned at a molecular level. And that’s exactly what we’re doing.
